Hello friends who always watch my postings! And thank you very much! A village in the mountains of Iwate prefecture in the 1960s. I sometimes wonder what's so different from what it is today. I think the big difference between today and 60 years ago is that the population has declined significantly. At that time, there were many young people and children. Children's voices was echoeing everywhere...! Even though it was a small village in the depths of such a mountain, many people participated in the summer or autumn festival. And the children were looking forward to such a big event. Unfortunately, that big and most enjoyable festival has now disappeared from this village. And also,as a result of the revetment work, the river where children play has disappeared. But in my heart, the scene of those days remains. I can't forget that beautiful time when there were no mobile phones, computers or TVs. I'm guessing that many people around the world cherish such memories. -------------------------------------------------------------------- By the way, this painting work has a very long width.
