    Description

    This kokeshi doll was bought as a souvenir during a visit to Wajima, Ishikawa Prefecture, famous for Wajima-nuri lacquerware. It is not clear whether this Kokeshi doll is Wajima-nuri or not, but it is a beautiful and smooth Kokeshi doll with the atmosphere of Wajima-nuri.
    There is a small peeling of the paint on the bottom of the doll.(see photo)
